WHO IS BRIAN CHEVALIER?
Brian is lifelong Rhode Island resident born in 1986 and raised in Coventry, Rhode Island. His time at Jake Kaplan’s Jaguar Land Rover Warwick began back in February 2017. His favorite vehicle is the Land Rover Defender and his nickname around the showroom is Chappie, a tribute to his signature hat that has become an extension of his personality. He is passionate about the vehicles he sells and has a knack for finding the right one for his clients.
Brian prides himself on repeat and referral customers. His transparency and attention to detail throughout the entire car buying process puts his customers at ease, from the initial “Welcome to Jake Kaplan’s” handshake, through the completion of the registration and beyond. He’ll make sure you know how to use every button in your new vehicle, and will always be just a text or call away if you have any questions or concerns.
Brian is close with his elderly grandmother Pauline. Wednesday is Dinner at Grandma’s, so expect a delayed response to texts or emails between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Brian’s hobbies include golf, photography, going where the leaves are pretty in October, and taking the 8 hour drive out to Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania to stand out in the freezing cold for 5 hours on February 2nd to see in person if the Groundhog sees his shadow or not.
Outside of his passion for luxury vehicles and providing world-class customer service, Brian is a weather enthusiast and storm chaser. He runs a popular Facebook Page “Weather In RI” which currently boasts over 33,000 followers. Lacking a degree in meteorology or atmospheric sciences, he has dubbed himself a “Social Mediarologist.” His daily forecasts come with the same skepticism as any other local meteorologist or phone app, but when snow threatens the dealership, his input on what to do with the cars is held in high regard. Brian participates in the Annual Penguin Plunge on New Year’s Day and has been featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal and the Providence Journal for seeing how long he can go without turning on the heat in his house in the fall. His record is December 23rd. He could have made it one more day that year, but wrapping Christmas presents with mittens on just isn’t something anyone should ever have to experience.
If you’re still reading this and think Brian may be a good fit for your next car shopping experience, save his cell to your Contacts. 401-741-5310. Text is the best way to reach him and tell him you saw his “About Me” on the website. He’ll take great care of you!
