The standard engine for the GLE-Class is a 2.1-liter inline-four-cylinder that produces up to 201 horsepower and an impressive 369 lb-ft of torque. In comparison, the 2017 Discovery offers a standard 3.0-liter six-cylinder engine that puts down an overwhelming 340 horsepower. Both vehicles offer over 300 lb-ft of torque, meaning they have a fun-to-drive attitude. The Land Rover's boosted horsepower gives it more confidence, and allows for over 7,000 lbs in towing capability when properly equipped.
Both the 2017 Discovery and 2017 GLE offer a host of high-tech features for added comfort and convenience.
